Damage control is more than just preventing inflow into the WGA and/or Sickness Benefits Act. It is also possible to take advantage of the (subsidy) opportunities when employed! On January 1, 2017, the Wet Tegemoetkomingen Loondomein took effect. Resolu explains what this means in part and what benefit you can do with it as an employer.
What is the WTL?
The Wet Tegemoetkomingen Loondomein (WTL) aims to employ or retain employees with a vulnerable position in the labor market. These target groups are included in the so-called target group register.
The law consists of a total of 3 concessions for employers:
- wage cost benefit (LKV);
- low-income benefit (LIV);
- youth low-income benefit (youth LIV).
The Tax Office pays this allowance to the employer. The employee himself will not notice anything about this.
