If your ex-employee is entitled to sickness benefits and you are an own-risk carrier (ERD) for the Sickness Benefits Act, the UWV still expects activities to be undertaken as part of reintegration.

Track 1 reintegration

It is important that employer and employee discuss the future with each other when sick leave is reported (threatening). This means that the employer is self-insurer for the Sickness Benefits Act and what it may mean for the continuation of the reintegration. The possibilities in track 1 (returning to one's own work) must then be examined.

If someone is out of employment, and you are Eigenrisk Carrier for the Sickness Law, then it could be possible that the reintegration in track 1 (i.e. the work with which someone left employment) should continue.

Track 2 reintegration

Are you self-insurer for the Sickness Benefits Act? If so, Resolu will be pleased to think along with you about whether the deployment of a track 2 program might be desirable. The possibilities for gaining work experience can also be explored with a track 2 route if there is no longer an employer. For track 2 programs, we work together with our sister organization Puls: experts in the field of labor analyses, career and reintegration.

Of course, you can use this even during the period when the employee is still employed, but working for their own employer is out of the question.
