Every employer can be faced with incapacitation of (former) employees. New legislation in recent years makes employers increasingly responsible for the reintegration and benefits of (former) employees. If an employee is sick for more than 104 weeks and can therefore earn less than 65% of their former salary, they may be entitled to WIA benefits. As an employer, you can remain financially responsible for this for up to 10 years. How does the WGA process work and what influences do you have as an employer? During this knowledge session we will take you through this.
